who we are
President
Tom Beard
This is my fifth year on the Lexington Arts Council board.
I also represent the Kansas City region on the board of the state arts organization MACAA (Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies). What's My Art? Photography. My photography is displayed at some of the regional art shows.
Membership Leader
Liz Fenner
A lifelong resident of Lexington, I have been active in the arts council since it’s beginning in 2014. I have served as secretary and as president two years. For the past several years I have chaired the Lexington Fine Arts and Photography Show in connection with Old West Octoberfest.
What’s my art? I have no particular talent, but a deep appreciation of art in all its forms. I show this appreciation by helping to provide opportunities for others to display and market their art and supporting local artists whenever possible. e.g. River City Players, Chorus of Friends, school productions and local merchants.
